This is a great coffee from a well know cooperative – Cenfrocafe in the Jaen/San Ignacio area of northern Peru. We were fortunate to obtain a small lot this year. We’ve been loving this coffee for years, and it’s mostly enjoyed in Japan by coffee connoisseurs there.
Cenfrocafe is a cooperative of over 1,900 farmers. They have a state of the art quality control testing lab, and most importantly pay a premium price to the growers which is vital in this time of low commodity coffee prices.
A creamy body with taste of cashews, mild honey and citrus notes. Recommended City to Full City + roasting. (Medium light to just into second crack.)
